After a major fundraising campaign in 2021, the new LED lights were installed this Spring. With the lights configured and pointed on May 15th, they lit up the entire field for the first time.
The new lights replace the old lighting that was becoming increasingly problematic and a large energy drain to operate.
The park lights are used Monday through Thursday for little league games as well as men’s softball games. They also help light up the volleyball area and playground.
